5 Quick Ways to Elevate Your Brand
White space - Anything you are designing like your website, business cards, pamphlets, etc. need to have white space. Less is more. Be sure that you do not overcrowd or make things too busy. Avoid busy backgrounds and always look for contrast.
Only your best work- Be sure to show only your best work on your website and social media. Even selfies should be held at the “best” standard. What you show is what you’ll book. Have a high standard for any content you show or share.
Fonts -
Be sure to never use more than two different styles of fonts in your brand.
Make sure it is legible. Use script fonts only on words that are not super critical.
Avoid trendy fonts that might not be in style in a year.
Less is more - Remember that if you are incorporating color into your brand, website, business cards, or any graphics that it should be pops of color instead of everywhere. Instead of everything being pink try the color on here and there. A good standard I use for this is I look for good contrast on anything I design. That I am representing both light and dark in it.
Stock photos - Not all of us have access to professional photos. www.pexels.com is an amazing website that has FREE stock photos. The photos you share and use on social media is a great place to focus on upping your quality and elevating your brand.
